We built this because we were tired of astrology that tells you who you are.
Most astrology products hand you a verdict. You are this. You will experience that. We think that gets it backwards. The chart is not an answer. It is a set of precise questions — computed from the actual positions of nine planets at the exact moment you arrived. Whether those questions mean anything is up to you. We are not here to convince you. We are here to hand you a mirror and leave the room.
What happens behind the curtain
Your planetary positions are calculated from the NASA JPL DE441 ephemeris — the same dataset used by space agencies to navigate spacecraft. We use the Lahiri ayanamsa (sidereal zodiac), true nodes, and a 3-level Vimshottari Dasha tree. The calculation engine is open-source and MIT-licensed.
The interpretive narrative is written by AI. We say this plainly because you deserve to know. It is not copied from a template — each report is generated for one chart. Yours. Before delivery, every chapter passes through 17 automated accuracy checks that catch hallucinated claims, incorrect house lordships, and fabricated yoga combinations.
Some of it might still be wrong. If your experience contradicts the report, trust your experience.
Your data
We collect your birth date, time, place, gender, and email. Your raw birth data is deleted after the report is generated. We keep an encrypted reference for 30 days in case you need a redelivery, then that goes too. We never store card details — payment is handled by Creem.io. We do not sell, share, or analyze your data. Ever.

Refund policy
Your report is a one-time creation — built from your exact birth data, written for your chart alone. Because of this, refunds are not available once generation begins. If the delivery email does not arrive, your report is not lost. Visit getstarlore.com/status, enter your email, and it will be there. If something genuinely goes wrong, email support@getstarlore.com.

Is this real astrology?
Yes. Vedic astrology (Jyotish), sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsa, true nodes, Vimshottari Dasha. The same framework practitioners have used for centuries. Every planetary position is independently verifiable — plug your birth data into any Lahiri calculator and the numbers will match.
How is this different from a horoscope app?
Unlike daily fragments from Western tropical zodiac apps, Starlore uses Vedic sidereal, shifting signs by ~24 degrees. We compute your full natal chart — 16 divisional charts, 580+ data fields, 13 yoga detections — and write one complete portrait. No notifications, no daily feed.
What if my birth time is not exact?
A few minutes of error changes house boundaries but not planetary signs or Dasha periods. Even a 30-minute estimate reveals your Moon Nakshatra. If you truly do not know your time, choose the simplified version at half price — it skips the time-sensitive sections and tells you what it skipped.
Is the text written by AI?
The planetary positions are computed, not generated. The interpretive text is generated by AI, guided by classical Vedic frameworks and constrained by 17 automated fact-checks. We are transparent about this because we think you deserve to know how your portrait was made.
